Isn't that what they say when they win something big?
Actually, its more of a we went to Disney World, and the big thing we won was actually, not something we won at all, rather it was a Sonic convention that took us to the great site of Orlando, Florida for a 6 night/7 day stay.
And now I present the 411 of our visit:
Once Upon A Time
The boys' first airplane experience. They were sooooo excited!
As the plane was lifting off, they both were saying, "This is Awesome!!" over and over!
Downtown Disney- the Lego Store
That night after the opening ceremonies for the convention, we got to go to Universal Studios, for a private party for all 2500 convention goers.
Here we are with Sponge Bob.
The boys did not like talking or meeting the characters.
They just wanted to watch from a safe distance.
On the days where Ryan had meetings,
the kids and I hung out in the beach box,
and swimming.
On the final night of the convention they had a fancy dinner
followed by a concert by Kenny Loggins
(A little Footloose Anyone?)
During the concert some of the other wives and I were getting our Footloose out and having a great time, when we were handed backstage passes for after the show!
Yah, we talked about that for days!
With the convention over, it was now time to get our Disney on!
Magic Kingdom
We were there from sun up til closing,
where we rode tons of rides, got drenched in the rain, saw the light parade, and watched the largest fireworks show they've ever done there
(apparently there was a fireworks convention in town, too, and they teamed up with Disney to show us the best they had!)
Surprisingly, the boys' favorite rides were NOT the kiddie rides.
They'll tell you that their favorite rides were Splash Mountain, Thunder Mountain, and the River Rapids at Animal Kingdom, where we got drenched!
You have to see the boys' faces in this picture! Everyone else is posed, because we knew there was a camera coming, but the boys didn't and Ryan says his face is raw emotion, too!
Animal Kingdom
We went on a jeep safari and the boys loved seeing all the free roaming animals
And our Disney adventure came to an end.
And we lived Happily Ever After
Oh, and you can't forget the lollipops as big as your head
Oh My

Such a fun trip!!! Did your baby go? Don't tell me you made him miss out on the giant Spongebob head thing.
I'm so glad you went!
So fun! I, too, was wondering if the littlest Timmons joined in on the magic.
And the Splash Mountain picture was awesome--are you sure you were posing? Well done, very believeable.
I forgot to say how funny that Splash Mountain picture is! Ryan looks pretty intense!
Baby stayed home with G'Ma. Which in the end I was glad, though I had a hard time leaving him. But after seeing other little tykes, who just suffer through the heat all day in a stoller and are miserable, I was happy for my decision. As for me posing- uh, well, I figured I was going to be yelling fantastically anyway, so why not let loose with it.
I love the faces of the boys on Splash Mountain. . .so real!
Does look like the happiest place in the world!
