Free At Last

We took our little butterflies out in their butterfly house to have our releasing party. We opened their wee little door, and I guess we thought they would all fly out as fast as they could, so we were surprised that we had to do quite a bit of coaching. Not, to worry, our information pamplet said that they know what to do when you let them go outside, so don't worry about their little instincts kicking in. We just had to get them out the door, first.

This is one that was enjoying his last sip of sugar water before hitting the wind.

As each would venture towards the door, and eventually take flight, it was pretty cool!

We'd watch it fly until we lost it in the sky.

So long little butterflies!

I've got to get one of those butterfly kits for Alisa for Christmas. Can you email me the company name where you bought them?
