New Year's Resolutions?

Can't quite decide what to work towards in improving in yourself for the coming year?

Perhaps I can give you something to strive for.

I give to you, "Things I am really good at, that you probably wish you were good at, too":

Picking things up with my toes. Handy, or shall we say toey little things down there! After a long day of bending over and over and over, I find that my toes are quite good at grasping cars, or pencils, or torn up paper, or even scattered clothing.
Your back may thank you.

Yeah, that's a good one.

Folding laundry. Sometimes I can see myself in some county fair contest, where they have piles of laundry and the contestants line-up and wait for the whistle blow and I'm off! Whipping and flinging those clothes right side out and tossing them to and fro! Theres shirts, and pants, and me-oh-mi's and bibs and towels and sheets and baby onesies. And to turn up the heat in the final minutes its a tight race of match those socks and get 'em rolling!
All I can say is, "Eat my Dust, Bunnies!"

Cleaning toilets. Four boys in the house- 'nuff said. I'm good at it.

Tossing. That would be as in tossing those crumbs or sippy cups or stray forks into the sink. It took some practice, so don't get down on yourselves, I've finally been able to master the strength of the throw mixed in with the length from me to the sink and the weight of the object and trajectory, etc. and whow-la, in the sink everytime.

So, I don't mean to toot my own horn or anything...
- well, yeah, actually I do mean to, and yes, I'm up there with the best of them.

But I was wondering-
What are some things you're awesome at?

Let's see...
Wiping baby noses. Everything from the classic come-from-behind quick swipe, to the full-on double or even triple wipe frontside. And I just keep getting better as the months go by. Snot bubbles, beware--I will prevail!

I'm really good at translating everything that Lane says into English...you see, he speaks Lane-ish and most people do not understand this very complex dialect. I've also become very good at changing diapers and clothes on a wiggly baby girl...it is very hard to change a moving target, but I have mastered it! Oh, and I'm good at the toe thing, too!!

hmm...don't know if I can beat that. Wow you are totally amazing. Well I am great at being a pack rat. How's that? This year my goal is to be more organized. I've also got to get good at throwing things out.."AND YOU'RE OUTTA THERE!!!!!!" that will be my new phrase.

I just thought of another one...I'm really good at changing the toilet paper roll. I've gotten so good at it because I'm the only one in the house that ever does it. ;)

Your on. You. Me. The county fair and a load of laundry. May the best/fastest folder win.

I think I could take you in the laundry category--unless it comes down to folding the fitted sheets. It's my greatest challenge--perhaps I shouldn't have revealed my big weakness there.

I've become pretty darn good at maximizing all inches of the baby wipe while changing less-than-favorable diapers. Kind of the old "wipe, fold, twist" technique--all the while keeping germs at bay. No wasted wipes around my house.

Hilarious post, my friend.
