Just as we finished dinner tonight, my 4 yr. old was playing around and got hurt. As he sobbed, he sought refuge under the table. My 16 month old was sitting on my lap, and let me know that he wanted down. He crawled under the table and crouched down so he could see his brother's sad face. He then continued to pat his back and head and snuggle into his lap.
My favorite part:
When he kept trying to hug his brother, but he kept putting his arms around his own neck and hugging himself.
