Sweet Apple Pie

sweet

apple pie

[who doesn't?]

Here's my Recipe

Apple Pie

Peel, Core and thinly slice

approx. 6 apples

[I've used Golden Delicious and Fuji, both turn out great]

Mix with

1 cup Flour

1 1/2 cup Sugar

1/2 cup Brown Sugar

1 tsp. Cinnamon

1/2 tsp. Nutmeg

Pour into a frozen pie crust

[I used Marie Calendar's Deep Dish,]

Nope, I don't make crusts

Crumb Topping,

Mix together

1/2 cup Flour

1/2 cup Brown Sugar

1/4 Butter (stick)

1 tsp. Cinnamon

and sprinkle on top of pie

Bake at 425

35-40 min.

Watch so the top and crust

don't brown too much,

if they do,

cover with foil.

We made a similar concoction tonight---so delightful. Just wished I had some ice-cream to put on top.

Your pie looks like it came out of a cooking magazine.
Very fancy.
