The Tie Dye Project
Thanks G'Ma T for the Tie Dye Kit,
and Thanks to
My Senior Chemistry Teacher
Mrs. Pothast,
Who Let us Have a Tie Dye Project,
So I Could Remember
How to Make Those Swirlys.

Disneyland...
[Day Two]
[Day Two, Part Two]
SOAKIN' Wet,
and
I Screamed Like
a Little Sissy Girl,
On ALL the
Big Kid Rides.
Get These Tired Puppies Home.
[And I Don't Mean the Kids]
They Weren't Tired.

I Remember
And All Those Emotions and Thoughts from that Time.
But As I Try to Tell My Kids About that Time in History, I Want them to Know about it, But I Never Mention Names, or Countries, or Cultures or Religions or Wars, Because I Don't Want them to Hate or Be Afraid.
Those Things Come on Their Own in This World.
I DO Want them to Have
Hope,
and Compassion,
and a Sense of Safety
and an Innocence about Their World, Still.
Because Those are the Fleeting Things,
That Don't Stay.

Preee-ty Sure
I've Looked Like This All Week:
What are You Doing with My Camera?
What Happened in Here?
Why Did You Do That?
And On, and On, and On.
There's How Many More Weeks
Till We Track Back On?!
Been Working On This:
ALL Week.
I Dismantled,
Thoroughly Sanded,
Thoroughly, I Tell Ya,
and
I have PRIMED
3x's
Some Places 4x's.
The Yellow Stain Keeps Showing Up.
Gah.
And?
I Haven't Even Touched the Doors, Yet.
However, I think Not having Doors on My Cupboards,
is Saving Me Ooodles of Time,
Left and Right,
That Isn't Wasted On
Opening Those Doors.
Awesome.

Kitchen Cupboard Makeover Part I
around My Peninsula,
Here is How I Did It:
I LOVE How They've Turned Out!
I'm Pleased that the Wood Grain
Does Not Show Through,
but Then again,
Perhaps Black is a Good Hider.
I Still have Several Things to Do,
Like the Rest of the Cupboards,
(Doing Something Different, There),
Before I do a Full Kitchen Reveal.

So They Help Us Host!
I Send out Emails,
Put it On My Facebook,

Letting Everyone Know
