{CHRISTMAS}

12.25.10

{Happy Birthday To Jesus}

{T Family}

What Did THIS Lucky Girl Get?

A Coffee Table,

that I found on the Local Classifieds,

and WANTED.

So. Bad.

(I Have Big Plans for It!)

But Was Tricked into Believing it Was Already Sold.

I was Sad, Sad, SAD!

But THRILLED,

When I Got It for CHRISTMAS!

And Another Total Surprise:

A NEW Camera!

{Merry Christmas}

Christmas Eve

In Keeping with Tradition,

We Met for Breakfast with the T Family,

at a Local Country Diner,

Then We Broke Up the Party,

and Headed Out,

for those Last Minute

Christmas Eve-y Things,

to Rejoin Later that Day,

for What Turned Out to be

a VERY Memorably,

Wonderful Night.

We

(the Entire T Family, Plus Other Family Extensions)

took the Opportunity

to Volunteer and Serve Dinner,

at a Local Women's and Children's Home.

[I Cannot Take Credit for Organizing

the "Troops" or Any such Planning,

Only Fulfilling My Assignments]

We were Lucky,

In that Many Items were Donated

for Our Use,

Including Christmas Stockings

and a Santa Suit.

Forgive Me If I get Long on Details and Pictures.

Pictures of the Women were Not allowed,

but If So,

I would Have tried to Capture

the Events of the Night,

as We Served Dinner,

and did several activities,

Including a Hat Swap,

a telling of

'Twas the Night Before Christmas,

The MOST Endearing Visit

from Santa Claus,

and Christmas Stockings filled with Goodies.

I think at one time or another,

Everyone got a Little Teary-Eyed.

The Women, and the Volunteers.

At the End of the Night,

there were Lots of Hugs,

and a Special Feeling of Family.

I LOVED Spending My Christmas Eve,

Like This.

*******

Our Christmas Eve Night

was Spent at My Brother-In-Law's

Doing the Things that Happen Before

The Jolly Ol' Elf's Arrival

Shhhhhh...

[Whispering]

Merry Christmas to All,

And to All,

A Good Night.

Merry Christmas

Operation: Fill the Bag

12.22.10
Last Night,
We Invited Several Friends Over
to Help Us
"Fill the Bag"

Our Goal:

Feed 50 Hungry People

Then We All Drove Downtown,

Jumped Out,

with our Arms Loaded with Sack Lunches,

and in a span of Half a Block,

All the Bags Were Gone.

Not One too Many,

Or One to Few.

The Feeling We Got from Their Tender

"Merry Christmases"

and

"God Bless Yous"

was Unbelievable.
