We Lost Ryan's Mom.
Marilyn Timmons
1941-2011
She was Plagued with Health Problems Her Whole Life, Including, being the First Known Case of Polio in the State of Idaho, Severe Asthma, Spinal Meningitis, and Congestive Heart Failure. She Also Lost Her Mother suddenly, when she was only 16, and became a Mother Figure to her two younger sisters, the youngest being only 6 years old.
Despite Her health Complications, she Married, and Raised Three Sons. She was a Master of Jokes, Bright Ideas, Silly Games, and Providing Love, Friendship and Smiles to Anyone, and Everyone, though She, Herself, was often in Pain.
If You Look up "Devoted Mother" in the Dictionary, You Will See Her Picture. I have NO Doubt that her World was her Family. My Husband tells me of the Popular Sleep Overs at His House, where His Mom was Always Present and Laughing and Joking with His Friends. She would Declare a "Snow Day", and let Ryan stay home from School, just so they could Hang Out and Have a Good Time together. She Allowed her Front Room, to be Decorated in Michael Jackson Posters and Football Cards. She Cherished every Note and Visit from her Boys and Grandchildren as They've Grown, and She was So Proud of Each of Them. A Couple of Weeks Before Her Passing, she mentioned to Ryan that Her Love for him, just Left Her "Star-Struck" when He was Around.
She Would take the 8 Grand kids on Grand Shopping Adventures to the Toy Store, and Movies, and held an Annual Christmas Cookie Decorating Afternoon, to allow the Parents to go Christmas Shopping while she kept the Kids busy. She Frequently Watched our Boys for Us, so we Could go on a Date. She would have Crafts or Races and Various Activities and Prizes Planned for them. She was So Full of Energy and Life, for a Body that Wouldn't Allow her to get around Like she would have liked in her later Years, especially the Last Several Months.

As we Returned from Vegas, we were met with the news that she was in the Hospital, due to Heart and Lung complications. She spent the Week there, and we went to Visit Her on a Few Occasions, and Could Tell she was Feeling Stronger and Much Better. However, after Being Released and Driving to their nearby Home, an Accident Occurred that left Her with a Head Injury and when the Paramedics arrived, they were Required to use CPR to Revive Her, though she would never gain Consciousness.
Her Heart would Stop Again, that Night, as Her Family Came together to Rally Around and Pray for her, Hoping she Could Hang on, Until her Oldest Son could Arrive from China. However, at Midnight, when Her Dear Loving Heart Stopped for the 3rd and Final Time,
it was Decided to Let Her Go.
She is Missed Very Much.
She is Missed Very Much.

A very nice tribute to a wonderful woman. She will be missed by everyone that ever came in contact with her. Her funeral was as beautiful as she, and her legacy will be hard to live up to. We all loved Marilyn and we love Johnny, too.
