Conversation with 8 Yr. Old

[He had Earned Himself some Extra Chores Over the Weekend]

Me: Thanks for Getting Up and Doing Your Chores with a Good Attitude and No Complaining!

B: Well, I Did it for Two Reasons; 1) To Help You to Not be So Stressed and 2) Because You Could have taken My Friends away, but Instead, You just Gave Me Extra Chores

Me: Aw, Thanks. You Are Good Son. I Love You.

B: And You are a Good Mom. I Love You.

([Hugs])

What?
Did That just Happen at MY House?!
In REAL Life?!
Awesome.

Vacation

We Went on a Lil' Weekend Trip to Idaho.
We Met While Going to School there,
and Wanted to Introduce the Kids to the Campus,
and All the Glorious Stories and Places of How their Parents
Met and Fell in Love!
We Spent Time Playing at Parks,
Swimming at the Hotel (lots of Time, there!)
and Riding Scooters around the Falls in Idaho Falls.

We Spent a Sunny Day Here
