Breakfast and Sweet Notes in Bed
And While Pa Cooked Up Some Dreamy Dinner,
I Spent Time with the Boys,
doing an Activity of Their Choice,
One on One.
First Eldest Child and I Went on a Walk.
He Talked Non-Stop about
the Earth and the Oceans.
And He made Me and Him
Matching Heart Bracelets
out of Legos!
Next,
I Played an Exciting Game of Basketball
with Middle Child.
He's Pretending to be Sad in this Picture,
'Cause I Kicked his 7yr. Old Trash.
No. Not Really.
I won, Only because he took it Easy on Me,
and Let Me Catch up to Him!
It was a Tough Game!
Youngest Child Wanted to Ride Bikes!
His Conversation While We Rode:
"Look, at that BIG Tree!"
"Look! There's an Ant Down There!"
"Look, a Flag for Where We Live!
We Live in There!
Do the Kansas City Chiefs live in America?
Do the Pittsburg Steelers?
Do those People across the Street live in America, too?
Does Everybody Live in America?
is it Big?,
etc, etc, etc"
Aw, Sigh.
Highlights of a Wonderful Day.

How fun to take each of the boys out on Mother's day--nothing better than one-on-one time, eh?
And tell youngest child that some really cool people live OUT of America. (cough, cough, point, point).
We don't have the Kansas City Chiefs, though.
Happy Mother's Day!
So lovely and precious! You're a great sport to do all that with the boys -- a great mom!
I just discovered your blog and I love it! I also think your hair is beautiful. How do you do it?
What cute boys! I have three also. I saw your kitchen on Pinterest and popped over to see the post; now I'm your latest follower. Have a great day!

@Haley, Golly what a nice compliment. How do I do it? Well, I am so lucky to have hair that can't decide if it wants to be straight or curly, so I get a scary in between, that is no wash and go project! So, I'm forced to do something with it! I use a 1 1/4 inch curling iron and Curl it. I start at the top of the strand and kind of work down as I curl. I do medium sized sections- not small ones, or giant ones. And I roll the curls away from my face. Fortunately, the natural curl helps to keep things curly. Thank You!
@Ellie, Welcome, Welcome!
@Ashley, Sarah and Grandma (My Mom!), You guys always leave me the sweetest, most Jolly Notes! Thanks!
