Cooking it Slow

While my sister JoMama
was at my house,
this summer,
she surprised me with a
new one of these
{a Slow Cooker}
-Brace Yourselves-
but I have never owned one.
{the shock and horror}
I always wanted one,
but
the thought of spending money
(a good amount of it)
on something so
PRACTICAL
was more than I could bear.
But I secretly had my
eye on this beauty!
How did she know?!
Since then,
I have used this
wonderful contraption
several times.
Even tonight.
Ah, how did I make it
without one?
Thanks Jo!

Believe it or not, we were given 12 when we got married. We kept 5 and took back the other 7.

I have my original crockpot from when we were married, but it's missing a handle, and someone gave me the wrong lid to it at our ward chili cook-off last year.
Guess it's time to update. Yours looks awesome

Yeah, that last comment was from me (Sarah) not Gabe. He probably doesn't even know we have a crockpot!

That is truly amazing to me that you survived so long never owning a crockpot. I honestly cook from it atleast 4 times a week during the winter months. You are going to love winter with that beauty of a crockpot. Dinner is basically done by 10am (all the hard part). It's fabulous!!!
