So all summer, the boys have been begging me to let them do a lemonade stand. In my mind, I keep having flash backs to when we were kids and had lemonade stands, and it was a)boring, b) hot, hot, hot c)never had much success.
I decided to let the boys do it, and learn for themselves if it was something they would want to do again.
They did fabulous! They stayed out for about 2 hours ( I was nearby in the shade). They would stand up and wave and smile at each passing car. They had a little bucket of water, and when they got hot, they would take their hats off, pour some water on themselves, comment on how refreshed they felt, put their hats back on, and sit down and go at it again. They made about $24 between them, of course the first bunch came from their adoring grandparents, but they still had lots of customers, and were so adorable and worked so hard! One lady came back again, and said it was worth a quarter just seeing how cute they were!

I love the lemonade stand! Experiences like that will be remembered forever! Cute pictures, signs, and (of course) kids!
