Wolf Den Leader,
Coupled with the Fact that I Now have a Cub Scout,
Plus the Fact that I grew Up with Sisters,
and Know NOTHING About Scouting,
I Think I'm Learning Pretty Swiftly.
Our Pack had its First Ever
Space Derby
B's Rocket Actually Won a Heat or Two,
Surprisingly.
B was Also Awarded his
Bobcat
the Other Night
at December's Pack Meeting.
[I think You and Ol' Mom]
[Might be Getting this Scouting Thing, Buddy!]

Awesome! My son is really loving Cub Scouts but I can't imagine being the Den Mother. I think I'll mention the Space Derby to our pack and see if we can do it too. I bet the kids would love it.
Yes, you inherited your mother's un-knowledge of Scouts. I thought once I reached 50 without being involved in Scouts that I would slide through the rest of my life and into eternity totally naive about the whole thing. Then at age 52 I was to be Primary 2nd Counc. over Scouts. It's a whole new vocabulary and set of events. Then I was moved to 1st Coun., but was told I had done a good job with scouts and would I please stay with it. Of course! We loved the Rain Gutter Regatta!
