2.14.2013

Valentine's Day.
Okay.
So,
Sometimes,
When I have a 3rd Grade Boy
who could really care less about
making a Valentines Box,
then I tend to care less, too.
We were on the same page.
And Basically,
We created a box that at the very least got
HIS Love and Affection-
the Kansas City Chiefs' Arrowhead Stadium.
With Favorite KC Chief Players
Lovingly Adorning the Sides.
[Insert OOoooos, and Aaaahhhs]
He was the only One of my Boys who needed a Vday Box this year.
Hoo-Ray.
(And? Obviously, I Rocked It, No?)

Also, on Valentines Day,
I Got to go to Preschool with Youngest Child,
Where, I was the Substitute for the Day!
Everything was already planned by his well organized teacher,
so I carried out the Vday Games, Stories,
Card Exchange, and Cookie Decorating!
It was Rather Fun!

And Since Sometimes,
I Stink at getting Pictures,
I have no more Pics of the Day,
but wished I would have gotten pictures of
Me and My Handsome Date,
going out to eat at one of My Favorite Places,
Going to see the Movie
"Safe Haven",
and coming home and finding
that the Boys were in Co-hoots with Dad,
and had been busy making Hearts
and putting them up everywhere.
And while I waited in the car,
they lit candles,
spread out blankets and
pulled out My Favorite VDay Desserts.
That We all sat and ate
in the Candlelight.
Together.

Basketball Season

We spent many Saturdays
from December through February
watching this Guy
Hoop it Up
at his
Basketball Games.
And?
His Parents were Tons more Nervous
about everytime He got that ball,
than He was.
I'm Certain
He Loved Every Moment.

Family Date Night

We started out a Friday Evening
with a Trip to a
Card Shop.
A couple of the Boys have really gotten into
Collecting and Trading Cards
at Home,
and at School.
They have tons of
Football, Basketball, and Baseball Cards,
but we found this little Shop,
and thought it would be fun
to take them to get their Card Fix.
While they searched for their Favorite Teams and Players,
Their Older Brother waited patiently,
and Him and I searched the whole Shop over
to find the Most Expensive Card.

After Purchasing some Very Special Cards,
We went to a little Ma and Pop Diner,
and Scarffed Down
Veggie Burgers, Pancakes, Waffle Fries,
and a Banana Spilt.
