B asked for Bakugan

C asked for a GI Joe Tank

and

that Cars would be a Good Idea.

Missing:

B's First Tooth
Sending Him to Cloud Nine,
and Making Him Eager to Flash
His New Hole,
for Everyone.
He was Sooooo Excited for the
Tooth Fairy's Visit,
You would have
thought it was
Christmas Eve.

{Angels Among Us}

12.09.09
Christmas Meeting of the RS

After I read Elder Holland's Talk The Ministry of Angels,
I knew there was Nothing More Important that we could
do with the Sisters in Our Ward, and with our Budget,
than to be an Angel in Someone Else's Life.
We Had to do something Totally Different,
than the usual Fancy-Shamancy Dinner,
and Take Home Keep-Sake.

We kept things Top Secret,
Saved Every Penny of our Budget,
and told Everyone to Dress WARM.

When we met together,
We divided them into groups,
Handed them Envelopes of Cash,
and told them, to
"Go
and Be an {Angel}
in Someone Else's Life,
Tonight."

and They Did.

As the Groups Returned,

We had Warm Fire Pits,

Hot Cocoa,

and Donated Refreshments Waiting.

It was FREEZING Cold,

and Our Breath Came out in Clouds,

But,

Every One's

{Heart}

was Warm

(a mere Smattering of the Angels)

{And THEY Were Glowing}
[Wonderfulness]

Having One Of Those Moments

{That I want to Remember For Ever.}
The kids are off track
and in their Jammies,
and we're sitting around the breakfast table,
with the Snowy Sun Streaming in the Windows,
the Christmas Lights setting the inside of the house Aglow,
Christmas Music Playing,
and Crayons spread all over the table,
as the Boys nibble on their Warm Muffins and
Slurp their Cold Milk.
Coloring and Jabbering about
Christmas and Snow
and Having
No other Cares in the World.
[I miss those days.]
[Glad I get to have them Again,]
[With My Boys.]

My Christmas Village

Make Good Target Practice.

To: ME

Merry Christmas!
From: Well, Me

We've been wanting to get a new picture of the Temple.

But I'm Quite PICKY when it comes to such things, and I didn't like Anything I had seen.

So, We grabbed cameras, drove down to the temple, and took Tons of Pictures.

THIS is the Shot I was looking for.

In a Sepia Tone.

Custom Framed,

to MY {LOVING!}

The Rock

Last Night,
According to Our Christmas Calendar,
it was Mom's Turn to Share
a Christmas Story.
*
I told My Lovely Children,
about the Year I Got a Rock For Christmas.
Not a Pebble.
A Boulder,
The size of an End Table.
Addressed to My Sisters & I.
And That Was It.
Nothing Else.
NOT A THING.
*
My Husband says,
"Can't You think of a Happier Story than That?"
I said,
"Naw. It's Very Fitting for the Day
I've Had with These Darling Angels."
*
PS A Very TRUE Story

{LOVE}

Is Waving
The Other Day,
My Kindergartner says to Me,
"Mom, sometimes when You Drop
Me off at School and I Get Out of the Car,
I Just really Want to Turn Around,
and Wave at
YOU"
And He Has,
Ever Since.

I Always Thought

Some Thing Was Missing
From Our Nativity Set
(Apparently it was a Bulldozer)
